Can I learn for free?

Yes. The free learning library has written course lessons and videos where available. You can learn without buying certification or signing in.

Does free learning include a certificate?

Free learning does not include a certificate. Assessment and certification are separate. Read the chosen course details for its price and requirements.

Which course should I choose?

Compare the subject, level and modules with your role and any requirements set by your employer. If you are unsure, contact NFS with your job role and workplace type.

Is National Food Safety a regulator?

NFS is an independent learning and resource provider. We do not carry out official food hygiene inspections or issue statutory ratings. For an inspection or official requirements, contact the relevant food authority or your local council.

How do I check course accreditation or recognition?

Read the information on the specific course page. If your employer needs a particular qualification or approval, ask them to confirm that the course meets their requirements before you buy.

How do I contact NFS or report a content issue?

Use the NFS contact page to ask a question. For a content issue, include the page link and explain what needs checking. For an order or course-access issue, include your reference if you have one.
